Ed Skip came to BeMinded for a UX and color refresh, but the deeper issue was conversion and repeat use. The work expanded into a clearer brand and a guided platform experience designed to give users a reason to come back.
The challenge
Platform analytics showed that a surface redesign would not be enough. The experience needed stronger story framing, better onboarding, and clearer reasons for users to return instead of treating the platform like a one-time visit.
The work
BeMinded reworked the brand and experience around founder Chelsea Avirett’s transition from education to tech, using that story to create an empathetic and encouraging tone. The site was redesigned as a guided experience with a clearer onboarding flow, tiered subscriptions, curated job newsletters, and a more manageable dashboard.
